Morning Devotional 051624

I’m learning how to work the Internet

Morning Devotional 051624

2 Kings 20:1-5

Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, “This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.”

Good Morning, Praise the Lord

It is a beautiful morning at sea. If my people will pray, I will heal your land. Many people are asking where is God in all the mess that is our world today. Has God turned his back on us, or are we forgetting to humble ourselves to God and pray.

What happens when we pray? Do we have doubts or do we believe? Doubts are understandable when we try to apply earthly understanding to God. God’s ways are not our ways and God’s thoughts are not our thoughts.

We are challenged by trying to understand the complexity of God that lies in the realm of a dimension that we cannot fathom. If we took a moment and tried to imagine the biggest number that man has named, it would be just a speck in the infinite scope of God.

Trust in the Lord and be blessed. Pray continuously and thank God for all things.

Loving God, We thank you for our blessings. By your grace, we are forgiven our many sins. Thank you. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God hears our prayers and offers us peace in His holy name.

Pray, Praise God, Thank God! Pastor Liz
